Above is my reflection on my time as a Media, Self, and Society Scholar. As I finish my third semester of being in this great program, I reflect on both my experiences in the program and how they shaped the student I am today. Furthermore, I discuss how I will the information and skills that I learned over the past year and how I will implement them in the future to improve and succeed as both a student and a person.
Photographic Memories
Above are some of my friends and I attending the parents-weekend tailgate before going to the football game in our first semester at College Park. Two of these friends pictured are also fellow Media Scholars!
The photograph above is one of my last pictures with friends before being sent home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This memory is bittersweet, since at the time of the picture, I did not know it would be one of the last "normal" experiences in a pre-pandemic world.
The photograph above is my first-ever headshot that was taken earlier this year. Throughout my time as a student, I will use this photo to represent myself professionally as I seek out internships, jobs, and other opportunities.
